This hotel is your typical full service hotel. The rooms are decent and were clean. It is located over the interstate, but you do not hear interstate noise in your room. It is located in "downtown" Newton near a Dunkin' Donuts and Pizzeria Uno but not much else within walking distance. Getting around without a car will require a taxi... More

I stayed here for the 2nd time before an early morning departure out of Logan. Both times were very pleasant and on an award stay. The location is very nice if you're traveling into the city or to the airport which is 15 minutes without any traffic. The most recent time I had Platinum status and was offered complimentary drinks... More

This hotel is fine especially for the price. It's a great location too. VERY convenient to get into Boston city as well as the local universities in Cambridge, etc... The staff is friendly. I stayed here for a month on business and feel that I have to particularly mention Yolimel Castillo and Jorge Siqueira at the front desk. They were... More

We checked in on a Friday night front desk staff was very friendly. Our room was on 12th floor overlooking the Mass Pike. The room was clean and comfortable with King sized bed and couch. Nice Vizio flat screen. Air conditioner worked well and we did not have any highway noise. The lobby bar was dated and unwelcoming it reminded me... More

We needed a location convenient to Newton-Wellesley Hospital for an early morning appointment. This was perfect: the staff was friendly and courteous, the room was large, well appointed, clean, and quite pleasant. I had driven the Mass pike many times and often wondered how this hotel, built directly over the Mass pike, could insulate rooms form road noise; the answer... More

I have stayed in this hotel periodically for a few years when travelling to Boston. The renovations are handsome, rooms are neither cluttered nor bare. Clean as always, this is a great location to jump right on the Mass Turnpike and arrive in Boston in a matter of minutes. The staff is a huge upgrade from years past. Management and... More

This hotel is built over a freeway. I am on the tenth floor and the noise is unbelievably bad. If the traffic doesn't keep you from sleeping the noisy air conditioner will. The room smells like mildew . The wi fi constantly requires you to reboot your iPad. The pillows are very uncomfortable. For what this hotel offers it is... More

The hotel is pleasant enough but nothing can compensate for the noise of the freeway and the shaking of the hotel when heavy vehicles pass underneath. The whole experience was miserable.

I spent two nights there. They only have a bar that doubles as a restaurant. The original restaurant is closed. There is no executive lounge any more. The lobby is dreary. Good neighborhood, though. Lots of good restaurants. Location on top of a major highway is "unique" but noisy.

This hotel certainly is "uniquely situated". Directly on top of I-90, the Crowne Plaza offers very nice rooms and an excellent breakfast with the potential for a serious sleep disturbance liability. I, however, did not experience a problem in the two nights I stayed. Perhaps it was because I was on the 12th floor, but I did not have a... More
