We enjoyed the town of Newburyport, it's shops, history, restaurants, and maritime museum. This hotel is dated with worn out furnishings in common areas. Breakfast was highlight of the hotel. Our room's mattress was quite uncomfortable and hotel was understaffed, nothing special to make us choose it again.

This beautiful property is in keeping with its Newburyport surroundings. The city has undergone a renaissance, and the Inn fits nicely. I was reminded of a European boutique hotel. I will definitely return.

Good location, complimentary breakfast was good. Very clean and great decor. Staff friendly and gave great recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Very relaxing and quiet. We will definitely go back for a weekend away.
