The Springs used to be (we're talking 1970's) a very elegant place with a renowned restaurant in a beautiful mid-century building that is now being turned into a private home. The hotel across the street is still pretty mid-century, although not that elegant. Still, at $70/night on a holiday weekend, it can't be beat. If you are looking for a... More

Clean, very comfortable motel style room in excellent decorative order, at good price. Parking right outside. Generous breakfast. No restaurants nearby but the very helpful staff recommended the Old Forge bar/restaurant, about 7 miles south on highway 7, which was superb.

Maybe I should have followed the advice in some of the reviews below and asked for a room up on the hill--ours was near the front, by the road. Our stay here left a bit to be desired, but it wasn’t too bad. The room and bathroom were small and cramped, and not extremely clean (hair in bathtub, carpet kind... More

Road side appeal is awful...place looks beat. Econolodge took it over earlier this year and outside still needs alot of work. However, it is an Econolodge now and the rooms were very clean, had enough pillows and typical breakfast you expect at an econolodge. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They are working hard to rejuvenate the place. Not much... More

This is one of those places which seemed to have been built for a different purpose in a different era. The dated-looking pool, the tennis courts out back, the elegant 60's-style furnishings...all bespeak the time when this place was probably a mecca for those who wanted a Berkshires vacation without the huge price. Now it's renamed an Econolodge. It's clean,... More

It was cute...an kind-of a 1960's motel feel to it...but perfectly maintained...I couldn't believe how clean and perfect the tile-carpets-drapes-beds were. The staff was very friendly and nice and the breakfast was much better then expected. My daughter is applying to Williams...if she goes there this will be my go to place for visits.

Hats Off to the managers and staff. Had a good time in MA. and this place we stayed at made it so easy to get up and go photo shooting in the morning. Clean, comfortable, situated in the Berkshire Mountains only 5-6 hours away from the Niagara Falls border. The views are fantastic along the way and its situated in the... More

We stayed here while visiting Williamstown because it was close by, the price was right and it had good reviews. I agree that it is excellent value for the money. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The morning complimentary breakfast was very good: tasty and plenty of it. The motel is quiet and close to Mount Greylock,... More

This place knows how to treat their customers. From the moment we walked through the door, we were treated like family. They greeted us warmly and checked us in giving us some good information about the area. During our stay, every time we saw an employee, they greated us and asked if we needed anything or just chated about out... More

This was a great place to stay. While not the fanciest of places, we were not looking for that, & the hotel was a great value, clean, comfortable, and has very nice people working there who provide great customer service. We stayed one night passing through the area so were just looking for a decent place to spend the night.... More
