As others have mentioned, our room, Verdi, did smell very strongly of cat urine overlaid with a certain cloying rug cleaner with which I am familiar. The Walker House is very well located in Lenox. We had a wonderful spacious room with a fireplace and a large bathroom. We had our own porch right outside of our room. If you are enamored of eau de cat pervading your environment, than this is the place for you. If you feel that you deserve primitive bathroom conditions, than you will love Walker House.
