Look at the website for rooms - we have stayed in the Silhouette room and the Sunrise room. Both were lovely and a good value. Silhouette: air-conditioned, 3rd floor, antiques-filled room perfect for a family or friends. Queen bed and twin bed, British armoire, private tiled bathroom with shower. The food was fine - nothing special but the innkeeper is... More

This is the only place we stay at in the Berkshires, even if it is further than others! We've gone here since 2006, and have visited at least half a dozen times. We've even gone back with our toddler, for whom they set up a port-a-crib, gave her her own breakfast, had a high chair for her use, and just... More

We celebrated my husband's 60th birthday at The Rookwood Inn in early Nov 2011. It was a wonderful weekend. The room was cozy and comfortable, the Inn was beautiful. Amy, the owner was very nice and went above and beyond to see that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious. We will stay there again, that... More

The rooms were nice but the advertised "buffet" breakfast had a lot more to be desired. The food also tasted spoiled and they do not serve real eggs. Although they accommodate infants, they did not offer the little ones any food at breakfast, not even a cup of water with a straw.

We are truly surprised and puzzled by this review. As you can see in other reviews, most of our guests comment positively on their experience at the inn and how friendly and helpful we and our staff are. As innkeepers who take great pride in our inn we deeply regret that this guest had an unpleasant experience. Neither my employees... More

A total of 8 women stayed at the Inn and we loved it. We felt like we were visiting family. The Antiques are beautiful and our rooms were beautiful, everything was clean and so cozy. The breakfast they cooked for us was delicous and the afternoon tea was great. The ground were very well kept . Wished it was warmer... More

After a stay in a rustic B&B in Vermont, the Rookwood Inn appeared to us both luxurious and entirely welcoming. Amy, the innkeeper, greeted us as if we were her most valuable guests and was a font of wisdom regarding local and area places in which to eat, swim, and hike. Our room was beautifully coordinated and entirely comfortable with... More

The Rookwood Inn is a lovely B & B located perfectly for all of the activities in the Lenox area. The rooms are charming and very clean. The breakfasts were delicious.many B & B's are not offering really nice homemade food. This was a real treat. Overall stay was just what we wanted and we hope to return .

The location can't be beat; Lenox is in the middle of the Berkshires, and this inn is steps away from the shopping, restaurants, and Shakespeare & Company is walkable. I learned the hard way last year that the decent accommodations in or near Lenox are relatively pricey, but the Rookwood looks after its guests. I have new health issues, and... More

Accomodating staff, pleasant Victorian-style rooms (but thankfully not overly fussy), excellent breakfast fare, remarkably quiet for center of town location.

We have stayed in the Berkshires many times usually staying at the Red Lion Inn, While that hotel is not top notch I believe that you get what you pay for there. The same cannot be said for The Rockwood Inn. My husband and I thought that it was incredibly expensive for what you got .... the smallest of bathrooms,... More
