We stayed here last weekend in a 2-bedroom unit to use it as home base for a weekend trip to Butternut. While the unit is technically a sleep-6, we actually had a dozen people (6 adults and 6 children). The unit has 1 bedroom on the first floor, along with a sleeper sofa in the living room; upstairs is another... More

Nice location in the berkshires but an old property with units that remind me of a low-end hotel. Low end furnishings in need of an upgrade. If you like cheap oak this is the place for you. Clubhouse is also old and in need of an upgrade. Did an exchange for this and the property is very inferior to my... More

The historic site with its beautiful grounds makes for a wonderful environment. The outdoor pool was lovely, there was a majestic heron sitting on the pond at one point, and we took a walk along Laurel Lake (you have to exit the property to access a laneway down). The units themselves have excellent layout and a clean, well-stocked kitchen (but... More

In planning our trip to the Berkshires, we were looking for a family-oriented place to stay that would be close to major attractions, yet secluded enough to give us some alone time with our new baby (who, heading into the Memorial Day weekend, was only 4 months old). The Ponds at Foxhollow perfectly fit our needs – it was only... More

My husband and I travel quite a bit an this place was VERY disappointing. the grounds are beautiful however don't be fooled. The interior of these condos are a trip to 1980. When I called the Gen Manager to complain about the shower head where the water hits your face like bullets, or the fact we were there 2 days... More

We very much like the Ponds and stay there at least once a year--and we're looking forward to spending more weeks there in the future. The Ponds consists of two types of units--the Westinghouse units are on the ground floor and sleep up to four. The Vanderbilt units are on the second and third floors and sleep up to six... More

Although the weather was rainy, we had a lovely time. The 2 bedroom was more than we needed. Never even used the upstairs. It was clean and fairly well maintained. The tv's are old style and the place coudl use an updating -- but somehow it all fit the Berkshires. Very countryfied. The facilities are okay -- but being here... More

We visited Berkshires often. This was our first time coming here in the winter and first visit at the Fox. The vast, tree lined, snowy ground of the FoxHollow is so breathtakingly beautiful. It's like an invitation to a stately home of one in Edith Wharton's circle (her home The Mount, is next door but closed for winter). The condo... More

We did a vacation rental of one of the 2 bedroom condos here for a week. It was perfect! 2 bedroom, a pull out couch downstairs and a loft upstairs with another pull out couch and TV. It could comfortably sleep 8 if you had to. We had 5. Was very quiet, there were only a few condo's being used.... More

Every year we take a trip to the Lee area because my husband is an avid fly fisherman and he likes to fish the Housatonic River. We stayed at the Ponds at Foxhollow a few weeks ago and it exceeded our expectations. We've stayed in time share places before with extended family and had some not so great experiences. We... More
