We had a 7 day trip to the southern New England states, stopping in 5 differnt locations and 5 differnt Inns. The Devonfield was the best of a great bunch of Inns. This is a lovely elegant hotel in the Berkshires, Massachusetts. Staff very helpful and considerate. Most bedrooms have the option of wood burning fireplaces and hotel based in its own substantial grounds. It was lovely to wake and watch a family of deer eating fallen apples in the rear gardens. more

Our first trip to the Berkshires. The inn was great. Large suite, beautiful grounds, and we managed to get in one last swim before fall! The breakfast was great too.
