All the reviews led me to think it would be moldy, smelly dive but it was the only affordable option that looked ok for a last minute weekend trip. Silver beach is beautiful and the motel (forget the word resort) sits right on the beach. Unfortunately, our room was small, the motel badly needs renovation, service staff were generally rude and provided very poor service. Unless all you care about is its location on a beautiful beach -- look elsewhere. more
