I took my mom and daughter to the Palmer House Inn for Mother's Day weekend and we could not have found a more perfect place to feel pampered. Our rooms (Walt Whitman and Samuel Langhorne) were beautifully appointed, with thick fluffy robes in the closet to slip on, and a welcome note with goodies to greet us. Turndown service, bedtime... Our most recent visit to the Palmer House Inn was our best yet! Pat and Bill O'Connell, both seasoned innkeepers, are sticklers for detail. As always, our room was immaculate, the 800 point sheets were luxurious, and the breakfasts were imaginative, generous and tastefully served. On this visit, we stayed in the "Penthouse" on the Inn's third floor. We like... More

I recently had the chance to visit Falmouth, MA. What a lovely town. While many may not think of Falmouth as the ideal Cape Cod destination, I found Falmouth Village absolutely captivating. Great shops and great restaurants! It's all walking distance from the Palmer House Inn too. The first thing I saw was the beautiful pink May Day basked hanging... More

We return again and again to the Palmer House Inn for a relaxing place to stay. My husband and I have stayed in the summer in the winter and both are wonderful. The rooms are always well appointed, the breakfast is spectacular, and other amenities such as snacks and coffee throughout the day are an added benefit. We enjoy the... More

It was a lovely place to stay and get married! My (now) husband and I eloped and had the ceremony near the fireplace. Bill and Pat arranged the officiant for us. Afterwards, they set up a table with cake and champagne. They gave me a bouquet and also gave us a gift card for one of the restaurants in the... More

Dear Jennifer, We are very pleased that you were happy with your recent elopement at the Palmer House Inn. The Elopement Package is one that we started two years ago and it has become quite popular. We do an average of two elopements a month and it is always a happy event. Many thanks for the great review. Bill &... More

Having had the good fortune of staying at the Inn previously, on two separate occasions, we decided to share this absolutely fantastic Inn with very close friends of ours this past weekend. To be sure, Bill, Pat and the staff once again exceeded our every expectation. Their attention to every detail within the Inn has over the years proved to... More

We just returned from our second stay at The Palmer House Inn and found it to be as pleasant as the first. Exceptionally clean, with many thoughtful guest amenities- such as the basket filled with Cape Cod chocolates and local potato chips in our room. The home cooked breakfast is always a treat and the inn keepers and staff most... More

Our room was lovely and clean. Breakfast alternates each day between sweet and savory but is always a treat. The Inn is walking distance from the shops and restaurants of Falmouth as well as to the bike trail and curling club. The town is picturesque with beautiful gardens all about. Fun shops for everyone. A real lovely view of America.

Dear Lindberger, Thank you for the wonderful review. You are correct Falmouth truly is an ideal American hometown and the Palmer House Inn has an ideal location. We are just a seven minute walk from the Main Street shops and restaurants. We are happy that you were able to visit us during the spring. Always, Bill & Pat More

This our second stay at the Palmer House. We've already reserved for next year. Every Easter my wife and I take a couple days off before visiting my brother and family in Boston. We like Falmouth because of it's beautiful village, bike path that is just terrific, and fine dining establishments. Just a great place to spend some down time.... More

Thank you for the wonderful review. We always look forward to your visits. This year we initiated a new program, "Same Time Next Year". You are the first guests to take advantage of it. How it works, is that we put an envelope and short note with a few thought provoking questions, in each room at check-in. All that you... More

It is like living in a cottage in Downton Abbey. The Victorian style inn is immaculately clean and elegantly decorated. The Breakfast were great. Our hosts Bill and Pat could not have been nicer. I recommend
