We stayed in the cottage portion of the Inn over the Christmas holiday. The Inn is perfectly situated in the downtown area of Edgartown, within easy walking distance to the harbor, Chappy ferry, shops and restaurants. The cottage is separate from the main house and has spaces to park cars, if you decide to bring one. The staff were very accomodating... More

The Inn was the perfect spot for a late fall getaway. The cool weather was offset by the lack of crowds. The Inn is located right in the heart of Edgartown, within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Our suite was just the right size and the kitchen facilities were a big plus. The room was spotless and the... More

My husband and I traveled throughout New England in October, 2012, and stayed one night in Martha's Vineyard at the Lightkeeper's Inn, in cottage #3. We LOVED, this place. It was PERFECT in every way. Has it's own entrance, even has a back door with access to a little patio area. So cozy, I felt right at home here. A... More

We had never been to Martha's Vineyard before and what a wonderful place to stay for our first trip! It was very tidy and quiet. It is within walking distance to many great shops and restaurants. Off street parking is great. The folks that come in to take care of the room while we were out were wonderful as well.... More

I had stayed here for many summers long ago, before it was the Lightkeeper's Inn, and 3 years ago decided I wanted to head back to the Vineyard after a long absence. I knew I wanted to stay in Edgartown but was afraid I wouldn't be able to afford anything in the area. So I looked up the Lightkeeper's, saw... More

We stayed in the Edgartown Suite on the first floor for 4 nights in August 2011. Each room has it's own entrance. The location is very convenient, barely one block from the heart of Edgartown so you are within walking distance from many restaurants and shops. Since all the rooms are suites there is plenty of space for a clean,... More

We spent 3 heavenly days and nights at the Lightkeeper's Cottage on this property. Everything we needed was provided: spotless, quiet and private cottage, deck, kitchen, great location just a short walk from the water but tucked away on a quiet, very peaceful street. The cottage has its own deck area to enjoy your coffee while listenining to the song... More

We stayed in Suite 4. The bedroom was tight/cozy but the living room/kitchen area was plentiful. I loved having a kitchen so we could cook our own meals instead of eating at the overpriced tourist trap restaurants. We came to the island to sightsee and visit friends who live on the island and the location was better than I could... More

Really can't add much to the other reviews - this place is fabulous. It's immaculate, the toiletries are high-quality, furnishings clean and comfortable. We stayed in the Cape Pogue suite (#3) and were pleasantly surprised that the room was actually nicer than the photos on their website! There are books in several drawers, which was a nice touch, and fresh... More

Own parking spot. The housekeeping staff made this a pleasant vaca because each time I returned to my room everything was spotless. Heidi was accomodating when it came to Hurrican Earl.
