Our family was treated like royalty when we stayed at Swallow Hill for Smith College Commencement weekend. Kessie was welcoming and flexible and made room for our whole family to stay there. Delicious breakfasts, quiet and comfortable rooms, and beautiful views of the hills. Wish we would have had more time there! I highly recommend it and hope to return.

We first visited in April of 2011 for a break from New York City. And after that there was no question we would return for our Honeymoon. Our host, Kessie, was incredibly accommodating and made us feel right at home. She created the perfect space for us to relax and recuperate and enjoy our Honeymoon. Her wood-burning stove makes the... More

Still remembering back with fondness to my lovely New Year stay at Swallow Hill! Very welcoming home, comfy rooms, and superb hostess with lots of information on the area. Delicious breakfasts included eggs, vegetables, Greek yoghurt, and spiced oat pancakes. High-quality ingredients—some from the summer garden! Nutmeg the dog is a true dear, surroundings are gorgeous (even in winter) and... More

Staying with Kessie in her warm, welcoming home was an unexpected treat. The home is situated down a secluded driveway perched on a hill with spectacular views of the bucolic region. We came for a weekend of biking and instead we got caught in the first blizzard of the season. We could not have been more cozy and pampered. As... More

What a wondrous place to stay! Our host was genuinely warm and concerned for our comfort and enjoyment. We were welcomed openly into her well-appointed home, complete with delicious hot breakfasts, beautiful country scenery, a friendly four-legged canine companion (not the least bit bothersome), a warm wood fire, and a clean and comfortable room. Kessie provided excellent directions and suggestions... More

From the picturesque location nestled in the mountains of Western Massachusetts to the delicious home-cooked breakfasts served by our warm and generous host, Kessie, we enjoyed every moment of our stay. Kessie went out of her way to ensure that we were comfortable and never at a loss for directions or information on local attractions. I will definitely be back!

Secret gem of a place and hostess. Kessie was wonderfully attentive to our dietary needs (gluten-free). She creates a warm atmosphere with her personality and ability to be both attentive and unobtrusive. We enjoyed the food she served and especially knowing it was locally grown, often from her own garden. We had busy days and loved coming back each evening... More

This B&B pulled out all the stops for a first year B&B. You feel like you've just arrived to a long time family members' home. The food was fantastic, all from Kessie's beautiful garden. You couldn't find a more charming hostess. Went out of her way to make us feel special. As first timers to the area, our hostess had... More
