The Jenkins Inn is the perfect place to go when you need to feel pampered. The owners Joe and David, always make you feel special. Meals at the Jenkins Inn are extraordinary! Make it a point to start your meal with some soup. You'll never be disappointed. Every meal is carefully created and presented with love. A perfect ending to... More

We stayed at the Inn for 2 nights and had a wonderful time. David and Joe are perfect hosts and make you feel very welcome. The Inn is very quaint with an interesting décor, lots to check out in the common rooms. The porch seating over the garden is a very welcoming setting. We were fortunate to be able to... More

We have stayed several times and always enjoy our visits. Our hosts take such good care of us. We especially like the Garden Room with all of it's sunny windows. The food is delicious and prepared with care. Will definitely be back!

Stayed overnight after attending a wedding. Lovingly appointed house, cozy but impeccably quaint salon, dining and reading rooms. Bedrooms also cozy, comfortable, and complete. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Worthy of a revisit and dinner during foliage season.

My wife and I stayed at the Inn for two days. We are not regular B&B people but rather like to find lodging while we visit our son and his family . A stay at another New England B&B some months ago was not a pleasant one however our visit to the Jenkins house however was quite the opposite. It... More

we stayed last week for the first time, and loved it! a wonderful Inn with delightful, comfortable, welcoming rooms and fabulous hosts. breakfast was outstanding - if we lived in the area, we'd come for the food alone. the decor, amenities and various little touches around the Inn were perfect and we had the best night's sleep in our room... Got together with a couple of friends this October Saturday evening (10-23-10) to celebrate their Birthdays! Upon entering the door it was like stepping back in time! The dining area is smal but very charming with a Victorian feel. The hosts are great, really attentive but not overly bearing! The food was delicious from the dinner cocktails, the appetizers to... Lovely dinner a couple weeks ago at this inn. Hosts were just sweethearts and service was A+. Dinner was outstanding! This spot is cozy and quaint, they really make the most of all their space. I thought this place had a great ambiance, which for me is as important as the meal itself....can't wait to go back!

We stopped in for lunch Nov 20 but never made it past the entrance after being informed by an employee that I could not bring my water bottle in with me. He cited a Board of Health regulation which I am sure was bogus. And his condescending attitude about our not having a reservation for lunch was uncalled for. I... More

It IS against health code in Massachusetts to bring food and beverage into a food establishment as cross contamination would be too difficult to detect who was at fault.....Also, we are a reservation only establishment as we only seat 14 people in our small restaurant and require reservations....We were full to capacity on this day....I thought that I was quite... The Jenkins' Inn is ideally situated in the small yet charmingly quaint town of Barre. The Inn's owner's, Joe and David, are the perfect hosts and very talented and knowledgeable at what they do. What a wonderful experience for me... First, the Inn itself: 1) The Inn is very historically interesting and updated with the more modern amenities (flat panel... More
