Fusty rooms and self-involved hosts: endless talks about dog shows and little interest in guests not purchasing their puppies. Their breakfast involved only sweets: poorly done muffins, a canned (!) peach compote and an tasteless apple tart. All this and noise made this the worst B and B experience ever. more

This was our first experience staying at a B&B as well as our first visit to Cape Cod . Our hosts, Ken and Debbie made us feel like guests in their home. The Inn (and Ken and Debbie) were charming! And Debbie's 3 course breakfasts were amazing! Ken knows everything about the Cape and made our stay so much nicer... more

The inn keepers have let the place become very run down. The garden has more weeds in it than flowers and they have faded plastic flowers in the pots at the front entry. The room had a horrible musty odor. The common rooms look like they haven't been dusted for a year or two. VERY dissapointed. more

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Beechwood Inn - the Inn is quite unique with its amazing Beechwood trees on either side of a wonderfully restored Victorian-era Captain's residence. The rooms were comfortably appointed with private baths. Breakfast time brought with it a real treat - Debbie's amazing talents as a chef coupled with Ken's knowledge of the area... more

Very comfortable accomodation with cordial and knowledgable innkeepers at the controls. Some of the best B&B coffee and plenty of it. A great base location for touring Cape Cod. more

This is the second straight year that my girlfriend and I have gone to the Beechwood and it is now our christmas tradition. Ken and Debbie are wonderful hosts. They are our guides to the Cape (Restaurants, special places to go and the most scenic routes to take there) and friends that we enjoy catching up with each time we... more

We spent five nights at Beechwood on our first visit to Cape Cod. The Inn is in a great location making it easy to travel througout the Cape. Just a short drive (or 15 minute walk) are two restaurants that are really good and slightly further at Barnstable Harbour is another, also worth a visit. You can also take a... more

We've stayed at the Beechwood Inn for the last 13 (consecutive) years and wouldn't dream of spending either a Fourth of July, or Labor Day Holiday Weekend anywhere else! We absolutely love all the fun activities the Cape has to offer and Barnstable is ideally centrally located. The Beechwood Inn is welcoming, clean, comfy, cozy and charming. The hosts, Ken... more
