We were overall pretty happy with our stay. We got a reasonable rate, easy walk to the metro, nice room, easy to find and park. Everything was great from the front desk staff on. The lobby is spacious, very inviting. Free coffee was excellent. You can walk anywhere and everywhere in town. There is a grocery store "Whole Foods" right across the street and with the small refrigerator in the room, nice for families with young children. Ipod capable desk clock was a nice feature.... more

Stayed here for a quick business trip. Hotel really is in the heart of many stores and shops in Silver Spring. Clean and comfortable. Nothing too exciting to say about the place, but nothing bad either. Good value and good location. more

This is a very lovely hotel, excellent downtown location, beautiful rooms, cubic fridge in room, lovely decorum, fireplace in lobby and Internet computers in lobby for guest. The front desk staff was really friendly and helpful but housekeeping did not seem to understand their job. The first of three nights there were dirty, stained and wrinkled sheets on the bed.
