Pretty good/comfortable Homewood accommodations, but hoped for more open/ spaciousness (as other Homewoods). Room layout small/ narrow living rm/kitchenette then bedroom (at far end by window). This layout makes windowless living room dark/cramped. this place was great for its kitchen and location. downtown silver spring was walking distance wh/ was very convenient. but the service was lacking. it's always good when the front desk and concierge can assist you in any way, but to have them recommend joe's crab shack when looking for MD crabs ... come on?

I stay in hotels 6 months out of the year and this one continues to be one of my all time favorites. Nicole Johnson and Dan the mgr treated my family like family. The location is close to metro and downtown silver spring which has plenty of nightlife, weekend farmers markets, live theater, AFI theatre, entertainment and weekly festivals
