This motel has lots of potential , great location and secluded . However the rooms are gross, mold all over and bugs on ceiling ...really a dive. Fishing off pier was great. Simply put: 1. Clean Rooms/Nothing fancy but clean 2. Very friendly and helpful staff 3. Unreal sunsets! 4. Enjoyed the food, drinks and entertainment at the beach-side Tiki bar. I recently took my fiance there to sample some of the eastern shore's culture. I looked for a quiet, romantic spot around St. Micheals. The only thing worse than the kids running around all night playing tag (i guess) was the dogs barking at you in the morning. My wife and I spent our anniversary at the Loews Wharf and we had a great time. The hotel is certainly not fancy but it is clean and had everything we needed. There are certainly fancier places to stay in the area but they are much more expensive. Loews Wharf is small and has the personal feel of a family... more
