We've been to St. Michael's a few times and have stayed at a couple of different places. Most recently, we stayed at Inn at Perry Cabin, which was super nice, but further removed from the city. What we loved about the Old Brick Inn is that it's in the middle of the main strip of the town. You would have... More

My husband and I enjoyed 3 nights, last week, again, at this Inn. We come back because it is always a wonderful experience. However, this trip topped all of the other ones. Innkeepers Katie and Emily are SO nice, friendly, helpful, just outstanding girls, with great attitudes for their jobs. Breakfast Chef Jessica prepared delicious ones, every AM, even using... More

I went to St Michael's on the recommendation of a friend, and chose The Old Brick Inn partly due to the dining room and partly due to the location. I like to enjoy my breakfast in the company of my spouse, and not at a large communal dining table with a group of strangers with whom I would need to... More

We love this kind of feedback- detailed and explanatory! Thank you for taking the time to send it. I too, am a fan of our dining room and I am glad that you noticed this perk of our place. That window seat is almost always the first one taken- it's a guest favorite! We try to have tasty, filling, hot... More

We stayed in the Colonel Kemp room at the Kemp House for two nights. The room was nice and clean, the staff was pleasant and accomodating, and the food was very good. Also, the location was excellent. Walking distance to everything in town. We had a very enjoyable time, and would definitely stay there again.

We stayed one night in the Loire room. It was very comfortable, well-appointed, though not too fussy. The breakfast was very good - we enjoyed the flexibility of not having to eat at an designated time and they were very accommodating regarding some dietary considerations. There was some noise from the A/C compressor outside the room which was a little... More

Ahh, the church bells! Thank you for noting this. They are very nice, but our location (basically right next to the historic Christ Church) does make them loud and clear! Thank you for the compliments about our breakfast and rooms. We work very hard to make each room a unique experience without being overly fussy. Our staff is also willing... More

We stayed at The Old Brick Inn 2 nights (April 20-21,2012). We stayed in the Captain's Quarters room in the main building. The room was very nice and clean. The bed was really comfortable. The staff (Emily especially - this young lady should get a raise) was very friendly and helpful...making our dinner reservations, calling to see if we could... More

My sister and brother-in-law along with my husband and I spent two nights at this B&B in September. I would highly recommend it. The location was great, nicely decorated with original art on display, breakfast was good and varied each morning. We had two rooms which were across from each other upstairs and it was very private and we felt... More

We booked this hotel last minute. Stayed in the Kemp House, which is one of a three buildings that are part of the "Old Brick Inn" group of buildings. The town is gorgeous and we loved our time there. However, the room was a bit funky. The window unit or something else smelled musty, or worse. It smelled so bad... More

We appreciate this feedback about staying in our Kemp House. This particular building was built in 1807 and you're right, tends to hold moisture, thus creating the mustiness. We are working constantly to maintain and upgrade this historic building to improve it's weatherproofing. With the record breaking rains we've had in August and September, it has been even more difficult... More

My husband and I stayed here for our 10 year anniversary. We had a nice room, though everything in St. Michael's is overpriced for what you get. In this case, we paid $250 for a nice room but which lacked a small refrigerator or other "standard" ammenities in that price range; i.e., nice toiletries or an abundance of towels. Bed... More
