We found this B&B on a groupon, and thank goodness we had the good sense to buy it. Since we got such a great buy, we decided to stay another night. Again, a great decision, one day would never have been enough. This B&B is enriched with old world elegance, but comfort. The first floor water view suite, was clean,...

We (couple in our 60s) want to highly recommend The Sandaway. We spent a wonderful weekend relaxing on the waterfront and thoroughly forgot the DC area pace. The Gibsons provide a welcoming and enjoyably complete experience from arrival to checkout. A guest can see the personal attention they gave in making their B&B a setting that is easy to get...

The Sandaway and Oxford, MD transport you back to a simpler time. The accommodations are amazing. The town is adorable. The pace is perfect for a romantic get-away. We will be back!
Sandaway was an unexpected pleasure to behold and enjoy. The waterfront view from out second story suite was picture perfect. We spent quite some time on the screened in porch watching the sailing, sunsets and partaking in our morning basket of goodies and coffee. The waterfront yard is expansive with dots of chairs scattered here and there to take in...

We spent a weekend at Sandaway in early April, courtesy of our daughter as a 35th anniversary gift. It was love at first sight. That perfect expanse of green lawn, white chairs and shade trees leading down to the Chesapeake Bay, sailboats gliding by and sun glinting off the waters. Sigh... I felt all the tension of the week disappear....

Hidden away on Marylands Western side lies the sleepy little town of Oxford. The Sandaway is located on the Tred Avon river and is a beautiful piece of property. The Inn has no TV's in the rooms but one is available in the library, has no phones in the rooms, but it does have WIFI. We stay in room 202...

Thank you for sharing about your stay at Sandaway. The Beach View Choptank rooms are indeed special. So glad you could enjoy the wonderful waterfront views from the second floor. Many guests enjoy not having TV in their room. However, we do have a couple suites and efficiency units with cable TV for those guests that request television. We also...

We found this place on a Groupon, and it didn't disappoint. It's an old inn with quaint, but pleasant and updated rooms with nice linens, and great views of the river and passing boats, birds, and a small beach (ask for a room with one). The innkeepers were nice, the staff was pleasant, and the place was just right for...

My boyfriend and I had tickets to go to a Baltimore Orioles vs New York Yankees game that was rescheduled from a rainout April to August. Unfortunately, a little hurricane called Irene impeded our plans of ever seeing inside Camden Yards and we were rained out AGAIN. I was so disappointed because as part of our trip to Maryland we...

Thank you to Ben the Innkeeper who sorted out a problem with our booking through an agent. We had a suite of rooms on the top floor with views over the water from 3 sides and a porch on the ground floor overlooking the water. This has to be the best location for accommodation in this area, right on the...
