We just returned from a midweek getaway to relax and rejuvenate. We could not have picked a more beautiful location!! We stayed in one of the river rooms at the Sandaway Lodge, part of the Robert Morris Inn. It was a gorgeous, serene location from which to watch the many sailboats, workboats and watermen, and birdlife -- from the sitting... more

We stayed at the Sandaway Inn, part of the Robert Morris Inn. The location was wonderfull with its own beach area and view of the Bay and Ferry. The building probably has some history and a few ghosts too!! The common room was cozy and offered a small TV, coffee/beverage/snack bar. The breakfast (served at RMI) was quite nice and... more

My husband and I just returned from a stay at the Sandaway Inn, the waterfront property part of the Robert Morris Inn. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was very nice, with an amazing waterview. We were on the first floor in one of the "river rooms". Definately worth the price to have the large porch and the view. The... more

We found our four day stay to be relaxing , eye appealing and accomodating . The staff plus the owner were not only friendly but were quick to address our needs. They also were helpful in making suggestions about dining out and visiting local attractions. We will return again for another pleasant and relaxing stay. more

Loved Oxford quaint little town. We have stayed at the Robert Morris Inn on several occasions and keep coming back. Sad that the Restaurant closed last year, but still enjoy our room at the Sandaway on the water. We have found the staff to be exceptional and friendly. The rooms are quaint ,well decorated and have fantastic views of the... more

My wife and I have been a guest at the Robert Morris Inn of Oxford, Maryland each summer since we discovered the Inn in 1990. We have fallen in love with the Inn's old-world charm and we enjoy the villages of Oxford, Easton and St. Michaels all on Maryland's famous Eastern Shore. A visit to the Robert Morris Inn is... more

I was disappointed with this stay. I was looking for a warm romantic place, but this was not it for me. We have stayed in many B&B's in Europe and this one was not nearly as good as the cheapest one we stayed before. The staff was friendly and welcoming. That was probably the only good thing I can remember... more

We loved the view from our porch overlooking the Avon Tred River and the room was comfortable enough, but it is definitely showing its age. The furnishings are tired and there's no internet in the room. The main lobby smells musty, the place is for sale, and the restaurant has been closed except for serving continental breakfast. The location is... more

The Robert Morris Inn proved to be a "gem" of an overnight escape for my wife and me. The little town of Oxford, MD is a very quiet, laid back, slow-paced town. In fact, there's not a stoplight to be found. It is perfect for anyone needing a break from the hectic pace of a big city. Our room was... more

My husband and I stayed at Robert Morris Inn last November the weekend after Thanksgiving. The overall service was very good, our check in was smooth and our room was comfortable. We stayed at the Sandaway Lodge which was directly on the water and we loved sitting in the adirondack chairs that were strategically placed on the grounds overlooking the... more
