Not sure WHY other comments left for this resort were negative BUT I have to say our unit # 508 at Coconut Malorie ( TOP FLOOR ) was spotless, inviting, had a coffee tray stocked and waiting for us. The views from our private balcony was great overlooking Fagan's Island Restaurant, the sunset and water views was AWSOME from the... More

When we first stayed here twenty years ago, this was a first-rate resort. Over time, it hasn't aged well. We have stayed here one weekend, during the winter, for the last three years. This year, the heating system was so irregular that we either had to swelter in the bedroom, or freeze in the living room. The furniture has definitely... More

From start to finish the place was horrible. The hotel prides itself on being an upscale resort, and it's disgusting. We booked 3 rooms. All 3 smelled like stale indian food. The smell of mold in the hallways was disgusting. One of our rooms was only half cleaned - bed left 1/2 made, kitchen sink left with rusty sponge and... More

I visited the Coconut Malorie this month and I must say I was disappointed. The lobby is beautiful but the smell of mold was very distracting. The entire hallway smelled like mold. The furniture in the room was old and worn and the linen was dirty. The sponge to wash the dishes was dirty and had hair on it. Except... More

We have stayed in the Malorie two times. The first time it was so so, we were using it as a crash pad for a week visit over Christmas. Since we weren't going to be there except to sleep it wasn't too terrible. However, the nightclub next door was very loud and it was difficult to sleep until after 2AM.... More

I don't want to review too bad of a review because my husband and I stayed here for free. We had won a raffle and we could choose from a variety of hotels. We chose the Coconut Malorie because it wasn't too far from the city (3 hours drive from D.C.) Unfortunately, I have to agree with the other reviewers.... More

My son stayed here a couple of years ago and had a ant problem. During my resent stay, exiting from the elevator, the hallway had a nasty musky smell. Both rooms smelled worst. I constantly complained but was told that maybe the fake plants in the rooms were mildewed. Shocker, there were no live or fake plants in the rooms.... More

This was a nice place with a great bay view. We had a studio unit which was all we needed for a long weekend get -a- way. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was good - near beach and dining. Only downside was there was early morning noise from Fagar's bar near-by...but since we enjoyed the place ourselves we didn't... More

Staff could care less. No greetings, no thank yous. Seems like new owners with no concept of service or quality. We arrived at 530 in the afternoon with a confirmed, pre paid reservation. The desk clerk/manager blamed the web site as to why they did not have our reservation and as a result no room ready. We were told to... More

We stayed here and had a studio. It was a timeshare trade through RCI. I read some of the reviews and was concerned about the place. When I got there, I was completely surprised. First, the front desk. The people are not rude, they are Russian, and I am not saying that in a bad way. I found out, as... More
