We have stayed in this hotel for 3 years now and we have never had a problem. it is a very friendly place and the rooms are nice. these people go out of their way to make you have a nice stay. i would recommend this hotel to everyone. they also allow pets which you don't find that to often.... more

The hotel was clean and staff were very friendly! The pool was very well maintained for being 30 years old. It was sparkling clear. This was our 1st visit to the Barefoot Mailman. The staff goes out of their way to be friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Plenty of room to walk the dog and mingle with other guests also traveling with dogs. Great value!! Down home feeling......we will definitely be back!!! more

Maybe not the cleanest of hotels....but what can you expect when one allows pets? The staff are extremely friendly with humans and animals! The hotel is affordable, very close to the beach, and provides plenty of ammenities. Also nice is that they only charge a minimal flat rate for pets...Most hotels charge per day, per pet which gets very expensive!... more

I agree with most of the reviews here--this is a great place to stay if you only care about the basics, especially if you want to go in the summer but can't do a full week's rental somewhere. The pool is small but nice, the room was clean and serviceable, and the location was very good. more
