Yes, I agree w/ the fact that the rooms are very small and old. The hotel does need to close down for about a year to renovate the rooms. From the outside the hotel looks fantastic. The lobby looks nice. It's the room that begins the nightmare. I've never been in such a dirty room in my life. The wallpaper is falling off the walls. While it rained everyday we were there, the hotel was great. We especially give credit to Delores and Daniel who helped us considerably. The lobby was very nice with fresh coffee and fruit every day. Just like everyone else we read the horrible reviews! We stayed there last year, but were really nervous after reading the reviews. I took my mom, daughter, and her friend. The room was REALLY clean (515), GREAT housekeeping (Ruth), friendly staff, good food, fun location, and coffee stand on front porch (FANTASTIC). We will definitely stay again! more
