This is an expensive hotel for what you get. The bay view rooms are nice, but it was too cold to use the outdoor pool. I have stayed at better HI Expresses. The room had a great water view, but the furntiure was sparse and dated, and the cleanliness left a bit to be desired. The breakfast was mediocre at best. Not the greatest value for the dollar either. more

Driving from DC to Chincoteague after a transatlantic flight we stayed here for one night. Had read all the reviews and printed a voucher from roomsaver. Got a fantastic king room with water view for $60!. Great local restaurants and breakfast was more than enough. Clean rooms and friendly staff make this a superb all round hotel more
