Yes, this property is a little dated however, very well maintained and the staff makes up for any short comings that you may perceive. The great central location between Baltimore and DC made it a better bargain for the the price with so many things to do and a wonderful assortment of eateries all within minutes. More

Everyone at the hotel appreciates your kind words. We are in the process of making the hotel not so "dated". A multi-million dollar renovation is currently underway and will be finished on or around April 1st. Please come back and see us the next time you are in the area. More

We always like the Hilton and Doubletree, But this one made me a little disappointed. We stayed at the Doubletree Columbia for 3 nights around Thanksgiving last month. The room was clean, service was ok, But they only provided with 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, 1 body wash, 1 body lotion, 2 little soaps for 2 people 3 night to stayed there. These... More

I hope that you will give us another try the next time you are in the vicinity. If we do not meet your expectations, please call our CAREline and we will bring... More

Stayed at the Doubletree Columbia in early October. Good location (right off Rte 29), friendly and helpful staff, nice restaurant and bar. Rooms need a bit of a refresh; they tend to look like they're out of the '80s. Other than that, a very enjoyable stay. Good value for the money in the Washington, DC area. More

Thank you for your feedback on your stay with us. I think you will be happy to know that we have started a multi-million dollar renovation of the hotel and results will be fantastic. There will be no more rooms from the 80's. We plan on finishing the renovation before the start of the 2nd Quarter. Please come back an... More

Immediately, upon check-in last night we were not greeted at the front desk because the clerk was on the phone with a non-business phone call. He acted as though we were disturbing him when he ended his call. Sorry dude - I'll take professionalism over warm cookies any day. He lied to us and said the suite we had reserved... More

This place is a nice property, though with just a very slightly worn look 'around the edges'. The lobby is really nice with an interior courtyard and glass elevators. I got a nice warm cookie at check in. The pool and hot tub looked very nice, but were closed for maintenance. The bed was very comfy with good pillows and... More

I've stayed here two times, both to attend concerts at Merriweather Post Pavilion. The lobby is pretty, with two big skylights and a huge lounge area. They have a small-ish indoor pool and jacuzzi which are great for soaking away your hangover :) There's also a restaurant/bar, but I've never been in it since it seems to close down by... More

Older hotel, older rooms, older fixtures.. a little further off the main highway. But you get a warm cookie at check-in. The staff was friendly and we felt welcome there, but it definitely needs to be updated! More

We booked this hotel for two nights while we were in town for a festival at Merriweather Post Pavilion. It is tucked away in a quiet, wooded area that may be difficult to find if you aren't paying attention. We checked in quickly around 11pm the first night, received our keys and our cookies and headed up to our room.... More

Stayed one night. The hotel had a nice design, with inside rooms looking down onto Atriul area and pool. That's the best I can say. The curtains were soiled and worse, the little "Sweet Dreams" pillow on the bed was filthy, with what looked like drool and food stains (I hope). And don't even bother with the restaurant.... More
