“Good hotel in a very nice town”

There are only a couple of hotels in Chestertown and the Holiday Inn is a good choice. About one mile from Main Street, the little harbour and the old town center. Bird watchers will be thrilled by the nearby Eastern Neck National Wildlife Refuge. We saw many osprey's as well as American bald eagles on their nest.

“Decent location, decent price, fair service, good place to stay.”

Spent two nights in a room with two queen beds. Very comfortable accommodations. We would definitely stay there again if our sports schedule brings us near there. The breakfast left alot to be desired unless cereal is enough for you. Hot foods were generic and bland.

“Move TV”

I was there on business and in an accessible room. When you sat at the desk to work you could not see the very nice TV as the large piece of furniture blocked the view. The piece was for the the frig etc.

“Good, solid experience”

Rooms are big, bathrooms are basic. Breakfast is good, but exactly what you would expect from a Holiday Inn Express. Sometimes recognized as a platinum member with a cookie and water bottle, sometimes not. Staff were usually thoughtful and helpful, but I have to say not consistently. The woman taking care of breakfast is great!

“Good place to stay in Chestertown”

Room was clean. Unlike "sister" hotel in Cambridge, coffee/tea service was not available in the evening (maybe not after breakfast hours). Friendly staff at the desk. Promptly got hot water for the dispenser, in the morning. Sink is in the bathroom, so companion is not disturbed when the light is turned on.
