Went for a birthday getaway in Dec '11' with no reservations. First time there. Beautiful place! Very quaint. Relaxing + romantic feel throughout the entire Inn! Very friendly staff. There is a pub downstairs that has entertainment later in the evening. Excellent food!! price not bad for what you get. There also is a dining room upstairs for a more... More

We stayed at the York Harbor Inn with a groupon deal. We were very impressed we had booked a standard room online my husband was disappointed we did not have a water view. He went down to the front desk to ask if they had one and not only did they give us one, they upgraded us to a suite. The... More

The inn was great for a nice romantic weekend with my wife. nice grounds, good restaurants and tons of charm. its right across the street from the ocean so you can swim in summer and have a nice walk the other three seasons. we rented one of the biggest rooms and found it was still rather small so beware of... If you want the "New England" experience of charm, cozy and quaint, consider staying at the York Harbor Inn. Not only does the inn pertain to these descriptions, but York, Maine itself is very special. It is all here...the ocean, the lobster boats, the harbor, coastal path, history...and staying at the Inn just completes the experience. We are seasonal residents... More

My wife, young children, and I recently stayed at the York Harbor Inn. We have stayed there many times before, and it's always been wonderful. Nothing has changed. The room (the "bridal suite" in the Yorkshire building") was great. Very spacious for a family. The view of the ocean is amazing. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The food... More

We recently stayed at the York Harbor Inn over Thanksgiving. The check-in process was quick and the staff was very friendly. They were ready to offer up information about the area (though we are familiar), the restaurant, and how to find our room (we were staying slightly up the road at the pet-friendly building that is part of their inn).... Have attended an annual Christmas party held here for several years. I have seen several different rooms... Very quaint kind of oddly shaped interior of the inn, the rooms are all over the place with winding staircases and hallways, etc. There are also rooms in the building next door, also an old building turned into an inn. One room (#33)... More

Wonderful room on the ocean close to Kennebunkport and other local sites. Breakfast and it room is warm and personable. Room faced the ocean with the windows open could hear the waves on the shore! The whole place is a class act from the modern room and very nice sitting room with a roaring fire in the fire place. More
