Close to a small beach, like staying in a relative's home. Comfortable rooms, very good breakfast. More

Great location overlooking the ocean and river. They provided delicious breakfasts, always with something cooked and lots of fruit, and even the extra touch of mimosas on New Year's Day. Rooms beautiful, spacious and very clean. They have a sunny, glassed-in main room with water views where we ate, congregated, talked, played cards, etc. Very comfortable and homey. Owner, Jay,... We enjoyed three nights here. Room, food and staff were the best! We walked along the harbor path to the island/park...walked along the sandy beach...walked to a great evening restaurant...and drove to view nearby lighthouse and other coastal scenes. We will return! We want to go out with a lobster-boat and watch/learn. Walt & Carol More

We were there in the offseason, having noticed the Inn during the summer. Its location is absolutely perfect, just steps away from the tiny York Harbor beach and from excellent walking opportunities. Since we planned to arrive before official check-in time, Kathy called to let us know where the key was in case no one was home. The Inn is... More

My wife and I spent two nights here recently. First for the good stuff. The inn is beautiful both inside and out. The rooms are well maintained and the common rooms very comfortable. I asked for a dozen roses be in our room at arrival and they were. Unike some places, they didn't rip me off for the charges for... More

Great service, nice breakfasts, beautiful water views. Loved falling to sleep and waking up to the sound of waves breaking on the shore. We're already planning our return visit. More

Kurt and Kathy are amazing--clean rooms, friendly conversation, yummy breakfasts in the morning (hot egg quiche with 2 kinds of squash, hot deep dish blueberry pancakes), and very helpful suggestions about the area. The Inn is located in a heavenly spot with views on 3 sides and a long pier to walk out with deck chairs to sip wine and... More

I spent the weekend there to attend a friend's wedding, and it was great. My cell phone didn't have signal in the Inn, though. More
