This inn is set right against the bay with beautiful scenery. It can be a little tricky to find- you have to drive off a main road, down a little road, then down their long driveway. But the tricky drive leads to this beautiful inn that is secluded amongst nature. So pretty. They also have a bunch of fun stuff... More

All the reviews on this website that describe the beautiful location of this hotel are completely accurate. It is stunning. However, the quality of the lodging itself leaves much to be desired; the walls of the wooden huts are extremely thin; whilst there may be positive reasons for this choice, to have semi-detached accommodation with walls that offer such easy... The staff is very warm and welcoming. The view of the harbor is incredibly "New England-ish" and the morning sunrise is breathtaking. The morning breakfast is a little more than continental and a little less than a full. Somewhere in between, but the food is very good though. My daughters and I were playing shuffleboard outside and one of the... More

Excellent location on a quiet cove. Spacious and clean room. Ours had a gas fireplace. We watched the sunrise from our room. Breakfast was continental stlye with some extra hot dishes. Best coffee I have had at an Inn for a long time. Staff was polite and helpful. We look forward to returning. More

We were traveling the New England coastline as part of a fall vacation, and made York one of our stops as we made our way from Maine to Connecticut. Dockside is a nice place to stay, situated at the back of a marina on a beautiful cove. It's an amazing place to watch the tide come in and watch the... More

The staff and owners were very pleasant and have kept this family business going successfully for decades. . The location is special. Room 119 was not luxurious but was clean and appropriate with a deck for sitting. I disagree with the recent Philadelphia reviewer who found this spot lacking. You do not come to Maine to find a 5 star city... More

Your have an absolutely lovely property. Our room was perfect; dinner at the Dockside Restaurant was one of the best as was the fresh pastry offered at the continental breakfast! The only problem was that we could not stay longer. More

Without a doubt, everyone has different tastes and opinions regarding interior design and decorating. All of our rooms are individually decorated and furnished to provide comfortable and attractive rooms for our guests. Room 119 is a perfect example, as we have many guests that request it. Unfortunately it would appear that this particular guest did not care for the furnishings... More

We stayed at the Captain's Quarters, which is a 2 floor house with 3 bedrooms and 2 and 1/2 bathrooms. Two rooms have a single large bed (queen/king), and one room has two twins, and a twin over full bunkbed. 9 of us stayed there comfortably (7 adults, 2 young kids). The house has a decent open kitchen, a dining... More

I would highly recommend the Dockside to anyone. My family and I have vacationed at the Dockside for many, many summers and can attest to what a special place it is. The location, the owners and the staff, and the accommodations are all wonderful and it’s a great place for a family vacation. The Dockside is situated on a private... More
