The Clark Point Inn is a nice "base camp" from which to explore Mt. Desert Island. Southwest Harbor is picturesque, with a small-townish main street. Just got back from a weekend at Clark the Point Inn (combination wedding and vacation). Mark and Jennifer (and their niece) were warm, welcoming hosts, offering a fabulous breakfast each morning.
