Nice campground, weather was crappy so we didn't have an opportunity to test the pool but looked VERY clean. A bit away from Acadia and Bar Harbor in relation to some of the other campgrounds, but never more than 20 minutes from anything on Desert Island. more

I cannot believe the negative review I just read. I stayed here in 2007 with my wife and friends and had an amazing time. We stayed in the premium tent sites along the field. This is a small, quiet,and clean campground. The pool is heated and there is a very little playground. No camp activities but the kids can borrow sport items from the office(basketball,softball,frisbee,horseshoes,etc).The island explorer bus stops here.
