ThIs review is for the restaurant. We went here at the end of season so it was difficult finding an open restaurant for lunch. When we saw the "open" sign we pulled over right away! Getting into this restaurant was a challenge. There are 3 doors, and the one you're actually supposed to use needs to be yanked really hard.... More

Thank for visiting us and the great review. Our clam chowder is one of the best on the island as we have been making it for over 25 years. The secret to it is the cooks on our staff that make it. They are dedicated and do a great job. Our mussels come directly from the harvesters and we pick... More

Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your time with us. I spent 7 hours at the entrance to Octoberfest greeting people and checking passes. It is a great event and the last good time before cold weather sets in and most of us close our doors for the season. The restuarant closed the 27th of Oct.but... More

Stayed 3 nights. The room/suite was very nice though a little unusual with the toilet/shower situation. It needs some more towels bars or hooks and or a shelf for toiletries or hanging a toiletry bag.We never met the owners but when we encountered a problem(burned out lights or more soap) the staff was helpful. Location is great as everything in... More

Pros: Comfortable, spacious, very attractively decorated. Friendly owners, gracious staff, good location. Cons: No parking (or instructions on where to park), and not great on housekeeping details-- missing soap in bathroom, no spoons or bowls in kitchenette. Overall, a nice place to stay for a couple nights in Southwest Harbor.

As a local business leader, I rely on the Cafe Dry Dock to provide rooms for clients and other visitors to stay. I am pleased to say that everyone I have had stay in one room or another at Cafe Dry Dock has had a great experience there. It is important for me to know that their experience is good... More

The Drydock Inn is more of a guesthouse than a hotel. The owners are hardworking friendly folk but don't expect to get a lot of attention-- they are busy with running the restaurant and the Inn. We enjoyed our stay, the room was very clean, comfortable and well kept. We actually stayed in two different rooms, one on the north... More

The room we stayed in seemed to be pretty clean and neat. Nice and pleasant owners. Tasty food in the restaurant downstairs. We parked for free on police parking lot just a block away. BUT!!! the smell in the room horrible, like if someone was smoking there non-stop. Or possibly it was just a stinky odor from the old furniture... More

This review has really puzzled us and we were unaware of any problems in the room. Every matteress and box spring in our inn was replaced in May 2010 with high quality beds. Smoking is not allowed in our rooms and our cleaning staff is viligant of this as we will charge the offender for cleaning the entire room of... More

My husband and I stayed in Room #1 - a little suite actually. It was clean, well equipped and the bed was really comfy. We ate in the restaurant downstairs - all our meals and appetizers etc were really really good. Among the 6 of us taking a long weekend, we had rooms 1, 2 and 8. Everyone was happy,... More

This was our second year staying at the Inn. Their location made it so easy to get to everything. This year we did the bike trails in the park. We were able get the shuttle around the corner from the Inn at the post office. Shuttles have bike carriers and are FREE and go anywhere you would like. We took... More

Martha and John were the best host. They recomended sites to see and places to check out. You could not ask for a nicer place to stay. Everything was clean and tidy the next best thing to being home. I also recommend you do not pass up dining at the Cafe. Every meal we had there was outstanding.
