The Inn is so relaxing and welcoming. I loved that the Inn was located a bit away from Bar Harbor which made the trip very peaceful and quiet but yet close enough to all the action. The room was very comfortable and the Breakfast very tasty. Thank you for a great vacation. more

The Harbour Cottage Inn is just as pictured on the website. It is a very beautiful inn, tastefully decorated and the location is great. Our room was rather small, but we knew this on the front end, plus since the weather was great, we did not spend that much time in the room other than sleeping. Even though the inn... more

We stayed in the southwestern cottage - 3 rooms - perfect for a family of 5 - ( 3 kids under 8) . The price was the best for a large family - not to feel cramped -as we often are. I was a bit apprehensive having small children at a B&B - but it was fine - although we... more

We would highly reccomend the Harbour Inn! This was our first trip to Maine and we found the accomodations so relaxing and the location was perfect for daily trips to the Acadia National Park . Don saw us planning our day and asked us if we needed any suggestions...after speaking with him about the activiities that we were considering he... more

We enjoyed a pleasant, lovely stay at Harbour Cottage Inn. The rooms and common areas are very pretty, and true to what you see on the website. The house is set back from the street—there is a nice big lawn out in front. The porch is a nice place to enjoy breakfast. The house doesn’t sit on the harbor—you can... more

We were very anxious about our stay since we had booked the same room as the Florida reviewers - Yawl. I will start out by saying that it is very small and we will book one of the rooms with a king bed when we return, as we could see that there was a little more space to move about,... more

We stayed three nights at the Harbor Cottage Inn and would definitely return. We had the Harborside Room, king size bed and two bedrooms. Very quiet. Less-than-10-minute walk to downtown. No wait at various nice restaurants. 12 miles from Bar Harbor. The breakfasts at the Inn were INCREDIBLE! Great service. No fawning by the staff or owners, which is appreciated.... more

Don & Javier, the owners of the Harbour Cottage Inn, are the perfect Innkeeper hosts - they are there whenever you need them, and discreetly "absent" when you want to use the common areas without too much other social interaction. The teriffic service staff learned this, too, from their employers - always respectful and accomodating, but not in your face.... more
