We stayed here a week in early July. Brought our boat up as well and docked it at Great Harbor Marina (they are awesome folks too!). Our unit, the Quata-Deck, was very well equipped and we even put some things we brought (like a mini-Cuisinart) back in the truck. Had a little glitch with an expansion of the deck of... More

We had hoped to be able to enjoy the afternoon sun from our deck but it was shaded by trees until too late. Many of the units do enjoy sunny decks but not the Quata Deck. The accommodation was rather smaller than I expected from the photographs and we had difficulty stowing our cases and provisions. The kitchenette is mainly... More

For the last two summers, we have spent one week at this picturesque establishment. It is a top notch location, that I have, and will continue to reccomend to all of my friends and family! If you are going to be in the area, do your self a great service and stay here, it is truly wonderful! More

We stayed at Pier One for our 10th anniversary last weekend in the Fok-Sol. It's a unique property right on the water very close to the center of Southwest Harbor (a 15-minute walk, we timed it). If you like very fresh lobster and seafood, Pier One is literally right next door to Beal's Lobster Pound. The Fok-Sol is cozy and... More

My husband and I spent three wonderful nights over Labor Day weekend at the Deck House at Pier One. As previously stated it is a studio cottage with a huge deck. This is not a fancy place but had everything necessary for a great vacation. The deck is out over the water and just sitting there looking at the working... More

My husband and I loved our six nights at the "Deck House" at Pier One. The one-room cabin is next to Pier One suites but has its own private deck. It is lovely and comfortable for two persons, away from the tourist centers of the island. Staying there, however, we had the advantage of being close to Acadia National Park,... More

We were looking for a place to celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary. We always wanted to see the Maine coastline and feast on "lobster". This was the place. It's location allowed us to spend many exiciting hours in Acadia National Park. Pier One was also centrally located to other interesting sites such as Bass Harbor, Wonderland, Ships Harbor and others. More

We stayed at the Harbour Cottage Inn (HCI) previously and were completely overwhelmed by the graciousness of our hosts, the quality of the service, the room, the five star breakfasts and the overall attention to the small details which truly made our stay a memorable experience. On our return trip we decided to stay at Pier One, the sister property... More

My girlfriend and I spent a week at Pier One at the beginning of August. We stayed in the Fok Sul suite, and upon our arrival, we knew we had made the right choice. The room was very comfy and cozy. The kitchen was well equipped and the deck was the place for many an evening cocktail as well as... More
