Great property for families - different room configurations will accommodate most traveling groups. as a couple and a single adult we opted for two queens which came with a small sitting room, fridge, microwave and a couple of TVs. They offer a lovely "happy hour" snack buffet with fantastic fresh veggies and other pre-dinner snacks. Breakfast is hearty continental with... More

We stayed here for two nights and loved it. They were so welcoming to our dog. There even was a dog bed and bowls and treats for him in the room when we got there. Country themed hotel with a small sitting room and a bedroom with a small kitchenette. The outside glass door made taking our pooch out late... More

We found a great off season midweek deal and decided to give The Country Inn a chance. The check in clerk was friendly and helpful and the fresh baked cookies were a nice surprise. Quiet room with a king bed and fireplace with a nice sitting area. A bit overshadowed by the cob webs and freezing cold room. While we'd... More

I would like to thank the writer for these comments. We maintain our breakfast buffet with a specially assigned person in busy times, and it falls to the front desk person on slower days; sometimes this can be a problem with conflicting priorities, and I apologize for any lack of attention on this particular morning. The quiche is kept cold... More

My wife had her friends in town for their annual girl's night this past weekend so I decided to decamp with our 4 year old daughter to the Country Inn in Camden for the night. I can't speak highly enough of the staff and the genuine warm, friendly feel of the property. My little girl was particularly enamored of the... More

This is a sweet little spot!! It is right on the line of Rockport and Camden. The price was just right. Our room had 2 queen beds, 2 televisions, a sitting area (table) and a couch that I believe pulled out in a bed. There were also sliding doors that led to a sitting area outside. We also had a... We needed a room for one night and tried a hotel down the road that was listed with AAA. They only had one room available, close to the main road, which was not an appealing option. Fortunately, the woman at the desk recommended The Country Inn - what a pleasant surprise: the room was large with a separate sitting area... More

I gave three stars only because this place would be perfect for dog owners. From my personal experience as a non-pet owner, I give one star. Nice country feeling in the lobby, spacious room with fireplace, desk, two TVs, couch, small sink area with a fridge, nice firm bed...I really liked it when I walked in the room. The next... More

Stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding being held at the nearby Samoset Resort, I reserved 3 rooms for myself, my brother, my sister and their families. The Country Inn was more affordable. The w/e we stayed was also the Lobster Festival. The rates were quite high considering, but it seems all the local properties use the Lobster Festival... More

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. We needed to book to take shelter from the hurricane, and they fit us in, and allowed us a very liberal cancellation policy due to the weather. Their queen suites have 2 queen beds and a pull-out double sofa in an alcove, along with a minifridge, microwave, and 2 TVs with... More
