I was looking for a reasonable place to stay for two near Rockland. Others on TA recommended the Claddagh Motel and I was not disappointed. It is convenient to beautiful coastal Maine towns. The owners could not be more helpful and the price was reasonable. It was very clean which is a must for me. more

Hosts are lovely, friendly, accommodating people. The room was clean and quiet. Convenient to both Camden and Rockport, this is a great bet for a mid-coast Maine visit. I left behind a favorite pillow, and Alex and his wife were kind enough to drop it in the post the next day. Excellent lodgings. more

We needed a central location for our trips to this area and found the Claddagh. It just can't be beat. It's clean, quiet, and has a family type atmosphere. The owners go out of their way to make your stay very pleasant. more

We stayed at the Claddagh for four nights in August. I have always been leery of hotels that have been rated 5 stars by everyone who has stayed there, thinking that it has been written by either close friends or relatives. We stayed not in the motel/suites but in one of the homes rented by the owners of the Claddagh, just a block away from the hotel. We loved the home, and would return again. We found the house to be clean, centrally located (between Rockland and Camden), right on the bay, and withing a few minutes walk from the pool.... more
