We live in Boston and had been contemplating an overnight stay at the Pomegranate Inn for awhile. However, the Inn was sold out every time I wanted to book a room! We were finally able to get a room there for a mini-getaway after a hectic Thanksgiving. The Inn itself is charming, comfortable, and decorated in an eclectic and fantastical... more

This is a top-notch bed and breakfast with unique and comfortable rooms. The food and coffee are excellent. Our second morning, the chef made a creation of his, Eggs Benedict with orange faux Hollandaise sauce, that was exquisitie. I disagree with the reviewer who said this inn is too far from everything. We found it to be walking distance from... more

My husband and I spent two nights here while touring the coast of Maine. The Pomegranate Inn is fun and funky and I loved being there. Everywhere you look, there is some interesting piece of art or sculpture. The breakfasts both days were as tasty as anything I've ever eaten at a B&B. BUT - we wanted to walk to... more

We stayed at the Pomegranate Inn this past Saturday night and were very pleased. It's located a pretty, residential neighborhood in the west end, a few short blocks from the Western Promenade. We found the room very comfortable. It was on the 3rd floor with a sitting area in front of a gas fireplace, which was a great place to... more

This is our second stay at the Pomegranite. We love Portland and decided to spend the weekend to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary. We were so impressed by the Inn that we decided to stay there again. The location is in a nice residential area on the westside. If you are looking for something that is walking distance to anything... more

We found the inn to be delightful. Great, interesting art. Super comfortable. To top our experience, Scott was a well informed host and gave us great recommendations for areas of interest, restaurants. He also was a very sociable, interesting gracious host making our stay quite relaxing and delightful. more

The Inn is in a pretty, quiet residential area. It's full of fine art (for sale) and other collectibles. On first sight, it is lovely. Staff were helpful with information on directions to restaurants, etc. The rooms are so full of collectibles that there is hardly a space on a table to put anything down. Two suitcases hardly fit into... more

We totally enjoyed our stay at the inn. Although not within walking distance of town, the neighborhood is charming. Scott was a great host & his breakfasts were amazing. We would definitely return. more

We recently stayed at the Pomegranate Inn in the West side of Portland for 2 nights. The inn was so welcoming and our room (#8) was just lovely/spacious. We had an adorable sitting area with lots of light and a cozy fireplace (which we though we would never use in August but a tropical storm on Saturday night changed that!).... more
