Very expensive for what you get. The room was old and worn, not modern at all, nothing fancy to justify the price. And the breakfast was disappointing too. Without hesitation the worst hotel we stayed in during our trip to New England. We are surprised it is part of "Choice hotels". more

We were very satisfied with this hotel. The room was very clean. It appears to have been updated within the last year or two. New rug, fresh paint, updated bathroom, Thomasville furniture. I read the other reviews before we went and I was a little concerned. Granted, I did not check for dirt in the heating unit as another reviewer... more

I have stayed in this Travelodge a number of times for quick stopovers whil enroute to other destinations. The hotel is a budget hotel, but offers friendly service, good beds, and a reasonable price. The front desk service was very friendly, the room itself was clean, large enough (two double beds), beds were very comfortable, and the room was safe.... more

Stayed here with a friend after she booked the rooms for Black Friday. After entering the first room and seeing the dirty tub(with hairs, and opened shapmoo bottle) we had to change rooms. I almost sleep in the car all night. I was in the room for 8 hours and that was too long. Worst hotel ever, looks like a... more

A lot of these reviews are not great but it is not bad for the price. We found the staff VERY friendly and VERY helpful. Our room was clean and quite modern (my guess would be that is has been renovated in the past year with modern furniture-Thomasville). We asked the front desk for help with car rentals and food... more

I was attending a day wedding in Portland and only needed this room to sleep and shower in on Friday night. I was moving to an expensive hotel in Old Port Saturday with the west of the wedding guests. I was really, really, REALLY hesitant to stay here after reading all the negative reviews. Maybe I just got lucky, but... more

desperate and computerless, we took the advise of our lonely planet guidebook and booked the cheapest hotel we could find. we had just come from the best b&b in bar harbor where everything was more than we could ever expect (primrose inn) and paid $95 a night, the travelodge was $80. smelly, no visible dirt, but i didn't trust it.... more

The gal that wrote and said this is truly a sleezy motel HIT THE NAIL ON THE HEAD!! I reserved 2 rooms because of the price. I will NEVER do this again without checking The Reviews first! The room smelled musty even though we were on the second floor. It was old and dingy even though the ad said it... more

They should tear this one down and start over elsewhere, It was located behind an abandoned gas station. My family and I thought we drove up to the wrong place it was so unreal.... "Stephanie", at the front desk was rude, nasty, and had no customer service skills. I thought while dealing with her, there was a hidden camera and the... more
