We go to the Blue shutters every summer. It is owned by a lovely couple, they really try to make your stay enjoyable. Its location is very close to the Marginal way and to the center of town. Its rooms are very cozy and well appointed. I find it is a very relaxing experience, and I love waking up to... More

After doing much research for me and my girlfriend's first getaway to Ogunquit I was able to track down this wonderful Inn. When I first called and spoke to Paul he was very nice and was able to get us into a room in the house at a very good price (about $50 less than any other places around, 1/2... More

We stayed at the Blue Shutters for 3 nights because of the fantastic location and because I prefer the Inn experience to the impersonal feeling of a large motel. Once we arrived, we were able to park our car and never use it. We walked the marginal way to Perkins Cove, we walked to the little beach off the marginal... More

My fiance & I stayed at the Blueshutters over the 4th of July weekend as a last minute getaway on what is known to be a most busy getaway weekend by the seashore. Once parked at the front door, The Blueshutters offered convenience via margianal way to a lovely beach area and both Perkins Cove and downtown Ogunquit. Our room,... More

My wife and I have been going to the Blue Shutters for our anniversary in June for over 5 years now and we have been delighted each and every visit. The Inn is located in a perfect spot, just far enough off of the Marginal Way so that no one is walking past looking in your windows, but close enough... More

Not as nice as the brochure. Owner not as gracious as expected. Room was dark, bathroom had no heat, just not a good experience. Nice walk to the beach and downtown Ogunquit. Did not expect to stay in a efficiency for a one night stay. More

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at "Blue Shutters". Since we enjoy walking in Ogunquit, "Blue Shutters" had an ideal location. We were a very short distance from the marginal way, so we could easily enjoy a stroll to Perkins Cove. It was an easy walk to town and to the Beach. The hotel was far enough away... More

My husband and I stayed here 3 nights in April just before Ogunquit gets crazy! We were given a special "scone rate" which meant we were made fresh scones instead of a full breakfast and we had a great deal on the room. We stayed in the carriage house in unit 3. We LOVED this place. I've since read the... More

This B & B is located in a perfect spot, just off the main street, so it is quiet and yet a great location for walking everywhere in the charming little town of Ogunquit. Our hosts were very helpful with directions, printing out our boarding passes and driving directions for the trip home, etc. They couldn't have been nicer. Our... More

My husband and I visit Ogunquit each year in September. We have always stayed at another facility. However, this year we did not make reservations and they were unable to accommodate us. The Blue Shutter Inn was able to give us a room for a long weekend in the Carriage House, the Marinos were excellent hosts. The breakfast each morning... More
