We have been going to the OVI 3 times a year (off season) for the last 3 years. Initially we were very pleased with the Inn as they are dog friendly and we love the location. When we travel we like to stay at locally owned places rather than chains and don't mind mis-matched towels, bedding, and little quirks that...

Filthy, disgusting, repulsive. If Trip Advisor had a rating system with 'minus'...this place would take top place with a "-5" or worse. And they seem to consider burned BLACK toast to be a culinary delicacy at breakfast. We've travelled the world, and this is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Be forewarned.
Decided to stop in for a relaxing Sunday breakfast while in town. The staff acted as if WE should be waiting on THEM...Though the quality of the food was good, our visit was tainted by slow service and the restaurant not willing to accept and credit us for a gift card we had for the Old Village Inn. The manager...

Though we didn't stay overnight at the Old Village Inn, we did have dinner reservations at the Inn. We were seating promptly, the wait staff was first class and professional, and the food was outstanding. We both ordered the filet mignon that was cooked to perfection and reasonably priced. When we return to the Ogunquit area, our dinner reservations will...

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend and enjoyed our stay. The staff was pleasant and attentive. We stayed in a two room suite that was clean and becasue we wake up at different times really enjoyed having a second room to use.
A few years back we had the pleasure of staying at the Old Village Inn and really enjoyed ourselves. The staff were friendly and helpful and at that time we decided that if we were to come back to Ogunquit, we would stay there again. I can't say how disappointed we were with the staff that were anything but friendly....

The plus side for this inn is that it is a great location in downtown Ogunquit, but other than that not much else. We stayed in the queen suite which is not a suite at all, but rather a small room with dated paneling and carpet. It is not the picture advertised on the website. When we arrived, the carpet...

This place was filthy, disgusting I can't say one nice thing. The rooms were absolutely gross. The toilet didn't work, the sheets were dirty the floor was dirty. The decor of the room was terrible. I didn't eat there but after seeing the room I could not even imagine. I could not wait until day break we left at 5am. Recommend...

I am a frequent guest at the Old Village Inn for several reasons. The first being that its location in the center of town allows you to park and walk anywhere downtown or to the beach. Additional pluses are the charming rooms, each one different, all with private baths, most are two room suites, some with clear views of the...
