I was very disappointed with this hotel. Flies on the windowsills in our room. Of course the 4th floor (attic-feel) was not air-conditioned so the room was hot, hot, hot. The overall feel is of a hotel that was once lovely but in need of an upgrade. Time to call the decorator! more

My family stayed in the Topsider cottages. I cannot believe I paid over $300 for such a shabby room with such poor service. Light bulbs didn't work and were not replaced after requesting help. We stayed at the Asticou for two nights - it was quiet, peaceful, clean and pleasant. The view from our room, overlooking the harbor, was unbelievable. The inn is older - no TV, no WIFI, no fancy specialty beds, etc. but for old school charm and calm, it can't be beat. more
