What are you looking for in a getaway...beautiful accommodations (the best of a Maine Lodge with luxury) delicious breakfast ; great hosts who can provide local activity tips (hiking, restaurants, drives. etc); scenic backdrop? This place fills the bill. We just stayed for two days - not long enough! We'll be back!

Beautiful lodge and perfect for snowmobiling! This log home lodge is just spectacular. The view from our bedroom window (off the foot of the bed) was Mount Katahdin... what a sight to see first thing in the morning! The snowmobile trails were well groomed and really quite perfect considering this was not a favorable year for snowmobiling. Deb and Rick... More

My husband and I just returned from a fantastic trip to 5 Lakes Lodge for a snowmobile trip.  The lodge, the hosts (Rick and Debbie), and the sledding were incredible.  We travel on snowmobiles extensively and this was one of the nicest places that we have ever stayed.  The lodge is beautiful and is in an idyllic setting.  The first... My husband and I stayed at 5 Lakes Lodge for the first time a couple weeks ago. "Wow" is a word I kept saying over and over throughout our five-night stay. The hospitality was uncomparable. Rick and Debbie truly love to host and truly care about each of their guests. They want to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.... More

I didn't know what to expect, as I've never stayed in a B&B, but this place is just plain amazing. The room we had was great, had a great view of Mt. Katahdin. Breakfast was also amazing. Debbie and Rick are really nice people and make you feel very welcome. This place was much nicer than any of the hotels... More

Awesome lodge for year round relaxing and enjoyment. great home cooked breakfast to start your day and for us, its off on some of the best groomed trails in the state of Maine. Rick and Deb make you feel welcome. The beds are super comfortable and the in-room jacuzzi type tub feels so good after snowmobiling.

My husband and I stayed at the Lodge for four nights following Christmas. Even without snow, we found plenty of hikes and spectacular scenery to keep us going during the days. The room was marvelous: clean, comfortable, and with an amazing view. We used the hot tub to ease some of our stiffness following a seven mile hike. Our hosts... More

We wanted to stay somewhere peaceful and remote in inland Maine - 5 Lakes was the perfect spot. When we walked in from the rain and saw the cosy living area with its huge roaring fire, the stresses of the long drive just melted away. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable; the panoramic view over the lake and Mount... More

I'm a city girl- but a long time time lover of Maine and all it has to offer. I've been spending summers there since I was a kid and have traveled it extensively. I couldn't be more pleased that we selected this Inn- it far exceeded our expectations. The setting and sunset views are breathtaking, the activities are plentiful and... More

We spent one night here - not long enough. We wanted to see Mt. Katahdin, and nowhere could have better views of it - from every room. This new lodge is beautifully appointed - excellent rooms, luxurious bathrooms, great beds, comfortable chairs in which one can sit and admire the views across the huge lake to the mountains. There are... More
