I was the only one visiting, and my room was upgraded. I stayed in the crow's nest, and what a lovely cozy nest it was. I could see the ocean, and smell the cedar of the doors and the floor. The bed and blankets were comfy cozy, and I got some much needed R&R between my business travel. I will... More

Had two great sleeps, probably helped by the amount of local beer consumed in the adjacent pub. Could not have asked for more from our first experience in Maine

A 5 day trip along the coast of Maine 10/10-10/14 started with the BCI. The bar was set high with our stay in the "Crows Nest". Nice view of the bay. Suite was rustic in feel, well maintained and impeccabely clean. Our late arrival resulted in dinner at the Whale Tooth Pub on 10/10 mext door and also owned by... More

We arrived on a misty Maine night to the Whales Tooth pub with roaring fire, ordered a locally brewed beer and some hearty pub food and thought “Now we are in the real Maine!”. Honestly, after traveling all over New England staying in B&Bs, I can tell you with some experience that this place is excellent value. Especially for us... More

The only way a Bed and BReakfast survives is based on the people running the bed and breakfast. Beach Cottage Inn has Rob. He's great. Very kind, very helpful, always around and remembers your name. His hospitality made me feel comfortable staying in a bed and breakfast. I'm still new to the B&B scene. The room was nice, well kept... More

We arrives in Lincolnville, Maine for dinner at our favorite pub and restaurant, The Whales Tooth Pub, then needed a place to stay overnight and discovered that The Whales Tooth owned a delightful Inn right next door. We stayed in the Crows Nest with a water view, and listened to the water sounds of the bell on the bouy and... More

My boyfriend and I greatly cherished our two nights in the Crow's Nest, which offered us a magnificent view of the ocean, particularly while enjoying evening cocktails from the rocking chairs on our deck! Beach Cottage Inn truly satisfied the high expectations we had for our short escape; it was spacious and clean, full of charm and personality, and very... More

My fiancee and I stayed here in July 2011 to attend a wedding nearby. What a great location close to Camden and Bar Harbor but maintaining a real Maine feel! We loved every minute. Rob and Dorothee are kind, friendly, and helpful, providing recommendations in the area whenever we needed. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a larger room. The... More

My husband and I travel in this area several times a year and try to book at the Beach Cottage Inn. The rooms are great with all the amenities you want for a multi-day stay. Great to have a very comfortable spacious area for relaxing. We usually have a room with kitchen and living room spaces, but have stayed in... More

The Beach Cottage Inn was comfortable, clean and the ocean view is lovely (the oceanside deck must be terrific in the summer). Don't forget to try out the Whales Tooth Pub next door. Great food. The Newcombe's treated us like family. A wonderful experience.
