Stayed here with friends for the Christmas Prelude. We flew our plane into Sanford Airport which is about a 30 minute taxi drive from Kennebunkport. We arrive mid afternoon and were welcomed with a crackling fire in the lobby, cookies, eggnog, coffee and tea to enjoy. Rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. It is the best deal for groups.... More

We only stayed for 1 night but enjoyed our stay very much. The owner was very welcoming. Our room in the main building was extremely spacious, very clean and well appointed. Town centre and good shops and restaurants are within an easy walk, though maybe not at night. Breakfast was self-service and plentiful. All in all a good place to... More

Apart from all the good things you expect from a motel (clean, quiet, comfortable room) this Inn has a few special extras: Tom (the owner/manager) could not have been more helpful - when we couldn't work out how to operate the fridge he came straight over to help and instead of keeping us waiting for a fix he swapped the... My Mom and I planned a last minute getaway to Kennebunkport over Labor Day weekend and this was one of the few hotels that wasn't outrageously expensive to stay at in Kennebunkport during that time. I would without a doubt return to the Village Cove Inn! The gentleman at the front desk is very kind and welcoming. Once he heard... More

I was really not sure about this place after reading the reviews, but it seemed to be the best of what was available last minute. I was really pleasantly surprised, very clean, everything was updated. Just what you need for a beach motel. Owners were super nice and the breakfast, not gourmet, but what you need before a day at... More

We had difficulty getting a room at a medium price in Kennebunkport as it is an expensive resort. This motel had some character in that blue clapboard covered it and it is next to a small creek. The rooms inside were clean and comfortable. It is very well placed being close to a small beach and the town - you... More

I booked this for it said it was walking distance to town -- NOT. It's a car ride - not a block. Rooms are older, breakfast area tattered. My own kids said, Mom can we go to a new place. If it was inexpensive - I wouldn't have been so critical but I would have hoped for more. The best... More

The Village Cove Inn is a nice motel, close enough to the town center to walk. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Our room was comfortable, and the breakfast was an added bonus. We would stay there again.

We had a wonderful visit in Kennebunkport. We visited all the boutiques and shops round the town and spent a half a day at the beach (too short). The Village Cove was the best bet on lodging.Close to all the attractions(Stores,restaurants,Bars,etc...) The owners are nothing less than friendly and nice! They guided us to all the places and gave us... More

We stayed in a deluxe queen room and had plenty of space for the four of us which included a pack and play. The room and grounds were very clean and many updates had been made. We loved sitting on our porch at night and enjoying the quiet wooded setting. We swam in both pools and the kids loved it.... More
