The inn is a terrific mix of welcoming public areas and thoughtfully appointed guestrooms. Breakfast was a treat. We stayed in Longfellow which does have a private but not ensuite bath; this was not an issue for my party and is quite common traditional inns. Spent a delightful four days relaxing at the Inn. Spacious accommodations complete with gas fireplace to take the chill off end-of-winter evenings. Scrumptious breakfast, homemade to order!

The suite and its view were FABULOUS....but the Host was a puzzle. After friendly emails prior to arrival....his lack of hospitality for the 1st 3 days was puzzling. Had a horrrible experience , the breakfast was nothing to write home about, and the rooms were uncomfortable, would never go back, the owner was grumpy and rude.

Could not ask for more.... Great food, beautiful scenery, friendly service and the most relaxing vacation I have ever experienced. Can't wait to go back for another escape.
