We were exploring the coast of Maine and came across The Mooring Bed & Breakfast. It was exactly what we were looking for. The hostess, Penny was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. My husband and I got married in Georgetown this summer and spent 2 nights at the Mooring. It is a fabulous place. The innkeep makes a delicious breakfast that is eaten in a room with a view! The location, right on the ocean, is perfect. The grounds are well tended and the rooms are clean and nicely appointed. more
