My family stays at various Holiday Inn Express properties on a regular basis. I think I can declare this one the worse one we have ever been to. It's not a bad place to stay but compared to other HIX it does not sparkle.
The front desk staff were generally indifferent (just like a previous stay a few years ago)....

Check-in has always been quick and friendly. Rooms are clean, quiet, comfortable. Even when I am doing business in Northern Maine, I prefer to stay at this location and make to 2 or 3 hour drive because I feel at home.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a night on a recent shopping trip to Freeport. Check in was great, and they allowed us to check in early, a nice bonus. Free wifi was available.
