We spent three nights at the Ocean Point Inn and were impressed by the knowledgable staff, very clean and spacious accommodations, lovely setting with great sunset views, great breakfast offerings and excellent dinner.

We don't normally write reviews, but we felt the need to with this MOTEL. I know there are a lot of excellent reviews and that's why we stayed here, but we were incredibly disappointed! First of all, we stayed in the West Wind cottage which was supposedly newly renovated. Sure there was a newer flat screen TV, new bedding, and... More

Our recent stay at Ocean Point Inn was a delight. There probably isn't a more beautiful view any where. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The price was very reasonable. We stayed in I- 1 and 2. We had a beautiful picture window that looked directly out onto the ocean. We... More

When I need to unwind, recharge and renew I head for the Ocean Point Inn. It is a destination - way off the beaten path - but if relaxation is what you're after it's worth the trip. OPI is a collection of Inn rooms, cottages and assorted building, so they have something for most people - even handicapped rooms. They... More

We arrived early evening tired from travelling all day and hungry. As we drove in the dark to find Ocean Point Inn we were pleasantly surprised to have a wonderful dining room with great wait staff and food. Room was comfortable and cozy. When we awakened in the morning the beautiful peaceful, quiet setting was wonderful. Ocean Point Inn is... More

If you are looking for a cookie cutter type luxury resort I am not sure OPI would be your best choice. However, if you are seeking natural beauty that is Maine seacoast picture postcard beautiful, the ability to completely relax, be away from, but just minutes to, the center of all the activities, then you would be hard pressed to... Just what we needed for a long fall weekend getaway. A bit off the beaten path, but that's a good thing in this case, judging from the mobs of people over at the more commercial and touristy Boothbay Harbor area that's about fifteen minutes away. Our cottage was a simple affair but had modern, well-maintained bathroom fixtures, nice soaps/shampoos/etc., great... More

At first it seemed too far from attractions, but this inn is an attraction in itself: a friendly staff, the exceptional location, charming rooms, an in-house "tavern" and excellent restaurant combined with a view that is up close and beautiful. Even has a dock where my husband talked to a nearby lobsterman who was putting out traps. We spent two... More

We were driving through Maine visiting family and stopped at one of the service centers on the Maine turnpike .I picked up the book of coupons that are near the door, While my husband was driving I came across a coupon for the Ocean Point Inn. I was sure it would be horrible but was blown away when I saw... More

I stayed her in early september for the second or third time. Firstly, I have to say that the room could do with a bit of a freshening -up. We stayed in the Inn building on the right as you look at it from the front. However, it had a comfortable bed the bathroom was OK, it was clean and... More
