My in-laws found Quisisana 40 years ago. We started going when my daughter was born 21 years ago, and there is still a year long countdown to the next visit. We go the same week every year, as do many others. My inlaws have made friends there, and their kids have become friends, and their grandkids have become friends. Quisi... More

Jane, the owner, has provided such an amazing venue to showcase talents of up and coming performing artists in a very family-oriented vacation resort. The location is to die for - nestled on the shores of Lake Kazar's crystal waters surrounded by majestic mountains. The three meals a day offer culinary delights the sort one does not often find at... More

I have been fortunate to vacation at some very nice places but nothing compares to Quisisana! The people are wonderful, the lake is absolutely gorgeous and the food is fabulous. This was my 4th stay and I always love it. If you are lucky enough to go stay among the pines, you will not regret it.

We have just spent our 20th season at Quisisana. Its beauty is its serenity, the wonderful and talented staff and the fact that is a "constant" in this ever-changing world. I really feel totally rested and relaxed. The food is delicious, the staff so friendly and so upbeat. They make you feel like they are your own children, and you... More

What can I say, Quisisana is the perfect Maine getaway. My wife and I went (without kids this time). The lake is perfect -- beautiful, clean, sandy bottom, real beach. The kayaking, sailing and now paddle boarding are free and plentiful. And, trust me, you will want to spend alot of time on and in this great lake. The food... More

After reading the above reviews, I'm not sure how much I can add, but here goes: First of all, we just finished our third June (pre-season) at Quisi in four years, and we can't imagine not returning next year. It is that good! Here is a typical Quisi day for me: I awaken at 7:30 and take a nice dip... More

We just returned from our third family trip to Quisisana. It is a laid back all-inclusive resort with great meals, comfortable cabins of different sizes to accomodate your group, and evening entertainment by theater and opera students, and musicians. The waterfront is always a highlight with a beach and swimming area, canoes, kayaks, sailboats, rowboats, a dock you can fish... More

I enjoyed Quisi the first year we came. I loved the performances at night and the setting was perfect. But, each summer that followed was better then the year before. This is a place that takes hold of you - and somewhere around year four my husband and I realized that our week at Quisisana was the highlight of our... More

beautiful setting with excellent facilities and outstanding service. the cottages are simple but sufficient and comfortable. the food was perfectly reasonable but not outstanding. lovely smell of pines. the entertainment program seemed dated but the performers had great enthusiasm. most of the other guests seemed to be repeat visitors and people generally were friendly and socializing with others was encouraged.... Quisi is an incredible place for a summer vacation. Comfortable, quaint cabins on a gorgeous, clean lake. No telephones or TV's in the cabins to distract you (phone service is available in the main lodge and at booths discretely tucked around the grounds) The food is incredible, ranging from creative sandwiches and salads, to lamb and lobster in a large...
