So many good things to say...this B&B is linked to resources that we value - hiking, kayaking, great food (I highly recommend "Long Grain" but get a reservation - we barely got two seats at the bar), an easy walk across the street into town. The breakfast menu is amazing - many, many choices that use local foods and offer... More

Think about it- people stay at B&Bs because of the 1) Bed, 2) Breakfast, and 3) Charm. With that in mind, my husband and I were thrilled when we stayed here late May for a mid-week getaway. We live only about 3 hours away in New Hampshire, but no matter where you come from, the place you stay for vacation... More

If you find yourself in the gorgeous Coastal Town of Camden, Maine, be sure to make your reservation at the Windward House! It is worth a visit to Camden just to stay in this inn. The owners are fabulous and make you feel right at home. The breakfast menus is one of the best I have ever had. The service... More

We recently rented the Windward House for our friends and family to stay at for our wedding. The rooms were idle, comfy, and clean. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! They were very accommodating and even had some breakfast items that were gluten free. Jesse and Kristi were wonderful hosts, they were there when we needed something and very helpful, but... More

We loved staying here. The people who run it are great and also cook extremely well. You can have whatever you want at Breakfast, including gluten-free. The room was airy and comfortable and it's right around the corner from all the shops and water. Awesome choice!

This is how every bed and breakfast should be. This was our last stop on our tour through Maine and we regret that we didn't make this our one and only stop. We stayed in the Quarterdeck Suite which I highly recommend. We didn't want to leave our room! The bed was so soft and so comfortable and the linens... More

I just stayed at the Windward House for my third consecutive year - and I'll be back! I lead a weekend photography tour up the Maine coast every year and chose the Windward House after looking at those available in Camden. I have never regretted that choice for a second, and neither have my tour guests. Kristi and Jesse have... More

Camden Windward House B&B is delightful! If you are heading to the Maine coast, this is a place to check out. The owners are warm and grounded and dear. Kristi and Jesse moved to Maine from NY 7yrs ago, and are raising their kids and dog in a special seaside town while running this B&B. Kristi greets you with a... More

We are from Idaho and wanted to show our friends (also from Idaho) a perfect place for a get away. This was our second visit to Camden and one of our very favorite places in the US. The Windward House was wonderful--outstanding hosts and food. Shopping was just down the street. We stayed in the Carriage House which was beautiful... More

Charleen, It was a pleasure having you and your frineds here at Windward House. Thank you for mentioning the great shopping in the downtown. The Harbor Carriage room is a very popular room, I am glad you liked it. I love the clawfoot high back tub in that room. Hope to see you again. -Kind Regards, Kristi More

My husband and I are from Maine, but thought a quick weekend stay along the coast would be a fun thing to do pre-tourist season. Camden Windward House caught our eye because of its informative and excellent website, as well as its extremely affordable pricing (compared to other Camden B&B's). The house itself is well maintained, albeit it decorated with... More
