My friend & I stayed at the Birchwood Motel in September. This place is great! Very reasonable, conveniently located, super friendly family owned and the rooms are absolutley spotless. I will definitely stay again. Oh, and the coffee and scones in lobby are delicious!

Dad & I stayed in the cottage through the beautiful garden. Excellent accomadations, friendly owners, great coffee and Scones to die for every morning and always different. Their food suggestions were right on spot and the cottages kitchen was well stocked as a chef would know. Making plans for next year already.

A nice little "Mom & Pop" motel owned & run by a "Green" 30-something couple who obviously care about their property & guests! Immaculately cared for comfortable rooms look out on a morning view of Penobscott Bay in the distance. Half way between Camden & Lincolnville Beach makes for a perfect location Mid-Coast.

The Birchwood is such a great value. Small, quiet, very clean and friendly. Have stayed there three times and will go back again!!! The ocean is across the street and visable from your room. The Continental Breakfast is one you wont forget. Nothing facny, just very healthful and nutrious. Different each time we stayed we loved it that much more.... More
